Long weekend in DC with inauguration Friday and Woman's March on Saturday.

March was so much fun and amazing.  The crowd was enormous, and it was just so much fun to be a part of it and to see all the different faces and signs.  Hoping it leads to even greater things.

Friday was nuts with protests right up our street.  Such a feeling of menace in the air.  Glad nobody got hurt.

Lots of rain and darkness and fear and outrage and dread.  I just want to purge it all and move on, but that's really impossible.  Things have changed for good.  We just need to learn how to live with it.
