5:55 UPDATE:  a little tea, trip to trohv and hexy has lifted my spirits.  Yay

stressful grumpy past few days weeks (where work is concerned)

not much going on, water off, super cold, and little creative juice.

today the heat was shut back on, and the water, but there are still some leaks, so it's not really all systems go.  Still, nice to be able to clean up the mess in the bathroom, and move forward a centimeter.

Anxiety over the state of the building, and things in general.  Of course I know things will improve, but this whole waiting period is sucky.

Remi gets an upgrade!

February has been sucky!

Really bad cold weather.

Best to hold on, look further down the line, and take things day by day.

Stupid snow and cold!

- Remi can't walk outside because of all the salt everywhere.  poor baby crumbles when it gets in her paws!

- Can't use too much power in the studio while Sally is here too - we blow fuses!

- Can't use any water, the pipes blew!

- Can't print without water !

- Can't do work errands becasue I can't drive because the roads are still a little bad, and more snow coming tonight.

Studio B in 6's & 7's

messy morning with water pipes bursting and roofs collapsing.  After a few days of FREEZING temps and howling winds and no heat in the studio, it all caught up with us (poor Tommy).

Looks like it's a manageable crisis, but still a crisis.

Leaving me very anxious.

February has been a struggle - but just need to soldier on and stay positive.

Thursday already!

I've been in a blah mood for few days now.  Creativity lows which is really typical for this time of year.

Made pecan pie, played parcheesi, washed car, washed remi, and pho'd with Rhodsa.

Working (struggling) on commissions, and trying to think of some new card ideas.

Little specks of spring peaking through.  later light, buds on trees.  But warm weather is still far away.  Strange we havn't had much snow at all.  I guess we are lucky!

January seeps into February.

80th bday party for Jimmy: vace lasagna, special salad(s) {pork roast} eclairs.

maybe too much BJORK?  I mean the songs are really sad.

getting Valentines out, and some new prints.  It's a dismal time of year.  Today was first (and only) warm day in weeks.  The sun was so great -- I got to put my top down on the way home from Navy Yard.  Time to soak up the light and hope for spring.  This gloomy weather is such a downer.
