Great day at the corcoran Saturday. Nice to be back in the swing of things. I miss printing, and being productive. Big hopes for spring '13!
Long day at the corcoran printing yesterday! Maeby print took longer then expected. So glad I waited on the black, I would have died if I screwed it up after all that work.

pretty good day today.
felt kind of trapped again with the print schedule, but all worked out ok.
Really happy to finish maeby print, and have it come out so well. A big accomplishment. My body was flooded with adrenaline when I finally printed the black outline. I was so afraid I was going to fuck up, and have to start all over again. so afraid! crazy afraid. But it worked out.
tomorrow is another day to print. I was I could get on track!

dear dave,
struggling with my schedule today - what to print? On what wood? What size? When?
I try to juggle all the pieces to get the PERFECT combo, and then seize up. Maybe that drawing sucks? Why print that so big? Maybe I shouldn't print today after all.
Everything gets fucked up, I loose focus and motivation, and nothing feels right.
Timing is so important. Printing takes planning, and sometimes all the planning ruins everything. My excitement for something fizzles -- I talk myself out of the great mood, and anything that may result.
Tomorrow is a full day of printing, and I have a lot on my plate. But -- it all feels kind of like "obligation" printing. I think it will come out well, but I'm pushing in my mind for some new things. Its sooooo much fun when it's a little looser and freehand. But right now it can't be that way.
The grass is ALWAYS greener! When I'm printing stuff to order, I want to be doing all new stuff. When I can do all new stuff, I don't want to - I can't come up with any ideas, I just want to print to order.
Oh the angst!

weekend goes by, then Monday and tuesday are busy with printing, and I don't get to write. I always mean to!
Good weekend. It was so long ago I'm having a hard time remembering what we did.
Friday night - lion dance at cafe asia with Rhosa. We got our lettuce for the freezer!
Saturday - printing at the Corcoran! I was all freaked out about printing boxes for Axis -- 10 boxes, 4 sides, plus split top = 60 prints. They turned out great - but required planning and skill. Was really happy to finish.
Sunday - bday party at Maria's
Monday - half day. I worked a bit in the morning, then took Remi out to Rock Creek in the afternoon, then Buzz at night after Whitlows. President's Day.
Tuesday - printing at the Corcoran. I'm getting a lot done, but still am behind! print print print!
Today - VP had a big printing sale, so I worked on some new cards. Finished just in time!
Ok - caught up. All boring stuff. Hopefully I will get back in a writing groove!

set myself up for tomorrow, that's about it. Time has gone by really fast.
Got the boxes from Axis, and took to the corcoran. Think the weather will be nasty next few days, so best to get them there while it's nice and sunny and warm.

why do I waste my time? What is that about?
Day full of stops and starts. Sort of productive towards the end, but that is not really saying much. I could/should be doing 5/10 x more.
I'm stuck in this sag.
headache this morning, and uncertainty about photo shoot scheduled. Not in the mood. Then it was cancelled just when I needed it to be, so I took a nap (hoping to get rid of my headache.)
Things got better from there, but I'm still a little down on myself. My printing load is getting heavier, which is good. That will keep me in line Saturday and early next week.

it's one of the mornings when I feel kind of peaceful.
Sunny outside, and my window is open. you can really tell that spring is coming. The air is soft.
Chicken tonight with the girls -- something fun and different to look forward to. Just need to catch up with my work.

Got a lot printed on Saturday, and then again yesterday. But I need to shift gears and print new pieces for BUZZ. The minis are seductive! Small and easier.

dear dave,
better day today. Hexy needed to work early, so we both got an early start. All day I was an hour ahead.
We had a successful Buzz run last night - and good feedback on the new print SALE. I decided to include prints listed on my site as well. Already made some sales, which is great.
Made a trip to TROHV with Hex this afternoon. Such a great shop, with the most unique things, and the nicest, most creative owners. I can never say enough nice things about Trohv. I really love it (and realize I need to capitalize on being "featured" there MUCH BETTER). It really is a great place.
Promising news on sue, so that rounds out the good vibes of the day. Off now to feed Remi, and then gym.

plans to go to buzz morphed into a later trip, with hex, and became more involved. Putting on a sale there - hopefully it pushes things forward with sales.
made some v's for trohv, and finished up prints that were made over the weekend. All productive, but feeling a little unaccomplished right now, at 5:39. Should I leave now, or try to do more? I'm undecided.
Also undecided about visiting Sue. All day...
More drawing tomorrow.

running down my list, getting some critical things accomplished.
Still have some sticky wickets, but I'll manage.
Also, some promising leads for upcoming shows.
Rushed over to corcoran yesterday for an afternoon print session. Not the greatest day, but I'm happy with a few things. Nice to have some new prints to load on the site, and promote. Everything got so stale in January.
Thinking about the next few weeks, and I know what I have to do. Stay focused, and printdrawpromoteplansell.

time really speeds up at the end of the day. My gears get greased, then it's time to call it a night.
Ready for tomorrow - first day of printing at the corcoran for spring 13. Caroline has left, so I'm apprehensive about the new teacher. Just hope he is down with ignoring "us" and focusing on
"them." And that all my stuff is there and in order, ready to work with again.
