Summer winding down.  You can feel the energy shifting.

B U S Y weekend, especially Sunday, celebrating Dad's 85th Bday.  A full day of cooking and grilling and cleaning and parcheesi.  Saturday I managed to work little, and went to Rock Creak / pool.  Good to relax.  But then that night was busy baking 35,000 eclairs.  Came out well, but there was room for improvement (more sugar in the center filling! )

Lots go get back to work on today, but VERy monday.  After such a draining weekend, it's not so exciting diving back into work.  Plus Monti's event is tonight, so I'm more focused on that.

Finished(!) my big round branches prints.  Glad to have those in the rear view mirror.  Redbud should have been 1000 x easier, but I kept running into issues.  Came out well though.

Now into a million other things.  September is going to be c r a z y.

Lots to do, Lots accomplished.

2 commissions printed today, and Bugz delivered Friday.  Still a lot to do, but always feels good to get through some wickets.

Time is slowly shifting.  Hex keeps saying Fall's a coming, because he knows it will get a rise out of me.  Just like saying the weekend is over, or time to go to bed.  I don't like these transitions.  And still trained to dread fall from bsur.  I have it in my head that it will be unbearable.

Anyway, good weekend.  Sidewalk sale never happened, and so I worked some saturday.  

Typical sunday in Rockville, although I killed in parcheesi towards the end.  and the peace pie was an A+

Drawing success (!) Tuesday and Wednesday led to printing pitfalls today.  Isnt that always the way?

Feeling drained again after the day of work.  Each printing step seems to require extra effort.  But I think I'm on track.

Glad it's only Thursday.  Tomorrow seems like an extra day in the week.

Super Hot Sunday and Saturday.  Managed a quick hike in Rock Creek saturday.

Remi back on vertigo meds.  At least we know how to treat (and then a treat).

wrapping up the week working on drawings, and think Im making progress.  it's a long road!

SUPER HOT, so think we will bag Dog Days 2.0 tomorrow.  Not just HOT, insane.

Got a massage yesterday, and feel 1000 x better.  They always help.  Wish I could get more often.

summer winding down.  Everybody is away on vacation.  Supper hot few days ahead.  Hoping to be super productive.

Eventful weekend behind - Dog Days 2016.  Mixed success - mostly because of the intense heat, and the short day saturday.  We packed up in the rain at about 3, just going into the sweet spot for sales.  Sunday was good, but I think saturday is always the best.
I'm always trying to analyze how to do better, but in the end it's impossible, and I just need to settle on the idea that we did the best we could with what we had.  Maybe a little passive, but true.

Happy with my new tables, and the signs, and selling my little prints (out).

HEX IS A ROCK.  Always feel so lucky I have him by my side.

This week I've been struggling with drawing (again again again).  Keep thinking that once I get into a groove I'll flow.  But that hasn't happened yet.

commissions flowing in… so something needs to get accomplished!

muddled day / week.  i just feel so incredibly unfocused.  or focused on the distractions.  that's more accurate.

replenished BUZZ after 2 weeks, and happy to see the supply way low.

Printed more FLAG shirts for weekend, hope they sell.  i need more.

And a fun flag print on wood.

Got "signs" in, and it's definitely a case of higher expectations and lower returns.  Hope they sell - I want to make more.  better ones.  I see some instant things I want to change.

ok, off to gym.  feel guilty leaving.  Always feel guilty leaving.  Tomorrow is another day to shine.
