A working Saturday.  Luckily I got a lot accomplished, otherwise I would be in the dumps having given up the whole day to work.

Finished up Peregrine signs this week (yaaaaaaaaaaaaay) and am on to the next batch of prints.  All went well and was orderly.

Really lucky to have all this work coming in, just feeling overwhelmed with projects.  Lists are helping, but it's easy to get bogged down (or more typically) look at it all like a big mountain and avoid even getting started.  For some stupid reason, that is always my default.

Watched some old video diaries.  Here is the progression.  Google Lauren commercials, watch Polo commercials on you tube, then RUGBY commercials, then get inspired to somehow add videos to my website as GIFS.  Open iMovie, and discover all the videos I uploaded from tapes a few years back.  There are still tons to upload, but they take time.  I have to recharge the camera battery every 5 minutes.

ANYWAY - always fun to look back.  That is what this blog is all about.  Recording the present so I can look look back.. What was I thinking then?  What bothered me?  What inspired me?

2nd ANYWAY - these tapes I watched today were full of insights and nuggets.  Few days leading up to my 1st trip on my own (Bermuda) which lead to many more adventures.  Angst over not going out enough, and not doing enough.  Unhappiness over being single, and lazy.  And most striking, my deep unhappiness working with Adam.

Everything is different now, but there were many through threads.  The more you think you've changed, the less you have.  Things and problems stay with us.

struggling with peregrine signs, but making slooooow progress.  What I thought would take x amount of time is now taking xxxxxxxxxx.  Bogged down in it yesterday, but had better perspective today.  Getting through it.

Wierd week.  Thought I would be on top of everything, but I feel the opposite.  Just keep moving forward on things, until they are done.

busy busy busy!

in a good way.  Summer pushes ahead, and as it gets closer to august / september, I realize I have 1,000,000 things to do.  Its going to be a breakneck few months.

SUPER hot this week.  bracing

repritns coming in, and planning for dog days with "signs".  Finally just ordered them today.  Anxious to see how they sell.

ok, off to gym

90% finished with BUGZY print, only to splatter stain on it.  Think it's fixed, but typical of the past few days.

Long morning at Home Depot sourcing out all the materials for the (long overdue) Peregrine sign.  Settled on the expensive wood, and am happy with my choice.  and black in white paint in small quantities.  so far so good.

Remi improving, but so restless and hot at night.  Hope that gets better too.

SUPER mega hot weatehr coming over the weekend.  Bracing.

Sept Oct is looking B U S Y

monday night Remi started acting like a mad cow - eyes moving rapidly, and limp body.  When she tried to walk, so would quickly slip or topple over.

Tuesday we took her to the vet, and got vertigo meds.

Tuesday night she started to improve, but still very agitated and unsettled.

Today she is improving more still, able to walk down the ramp and back(!) with a some trips, but not like before.

Emotionally exhausted.  Prepared for the worse.  Worried constantly.  Hopefully she continues to improve.

week of things to conquer, fears to resolve, people to socialize with and enjoy.  Doing well, but wish it was wednesday (it's thursday).  Finished up CP, and then on to other pressing prints.

coffee with Golriz was wonderful.  Such a complicated, interesting, funny, exciting, vibrant person.  Really enjoyed.

sad note:  the majestic sun flower we planted and nurtured out front fell over this afternoon.  Wind, heat, kick??  We'll never know, but it was so sad to bring it's limp lifeless body to the trash in the back.  What a shame.  Was just about to push out the giant flower head.  boo.

B U S Y week chugging along.  prepping for cheeky puppy, which has been more involved than expected.  Making all the shirts and the sign.  Will be nice to get on the other side of it all.

Chicken with the ladies postponed until tomorrow.  Gives me more time to work tonight, but I need to take care of mrs Remi.  Guess I'll do that now.

sad day / night / week in the news.  guns and murder.  Chaos and division.  It's scary looking into the future.  Rough couple of months coming up for sure.

fast few days, after the slow Monday holiday, spent inside like a slug, hiding from the rain and drizzle.

glad to get back to work tuesday, but everything this week is little and requires 1,000 steps to be accomplished.  <complaining>

Making my way through it.  Little set back printing today, but I think I found a better solution.

Strange dealings with _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _.  Things are sort of on track, but I'm very unsure about it all.  And that other thing was ignored.  Time will tell.

Hot and sticky week.  THANK GOD for the ac, otherwise I would be immobile.
