i'm happy to report the cabinet was conquered, and i'm very happy with it. my vision has materialized. from lowly throwaway to cabin/garage/warehouse chic.
3 coats of paint, lots of angst, several hardware store trips, and a few old favorite magazine clippings, and we are golden.
I'm very happy with the way it turned out. The top part, the part I kept from being tossed aside, is now reserved for VERY special items. Precious things. Only the best for you top. you are now king.
okay, back to drawing. and maybe a brownie.
